Uplift Your Week with Joy, Playfulness, and Present Moments

Sometimes life can feel like a relentless marathon.  Between managing work, family and personal growth, it’s easy to find yourself constantly chasing the next goal and rarely taking a moment to savor the present.

This in-between moment of the last sweet weeks of summer and fall just around the corner are the perfect time to savor the present.  The crisp morning air, the shortening of days, and the sunshine still pouring in.

What if you took space to pause, breathe, and rediscover the joy and playfulness that often get buried beneath the daily grind.

For the next week set aside fixing, improving, and driving and just BE!  Be exactly where you are right now… stretch marks, cellulite, and saggy boobs galore and jump in!

What if you leaned into…

Joy: Instead of waiting for the perfect moment or to be less busy to be happy, let’s uncover the joy that exists right now.  From enjoying a perfect cup of coffee, laughing with your kids, and leaving the mess for tomorrow, joy is all around you if you choose to notice it.

Playfulness: When was the last time you lost track of time because you were so engrossed in an activity?  It’s time to bring back that sense of playfulness.  Whether it’s dancing to your favorite song, jumping in the lake with your clothes on, or doing something new with your friends, embrace the power of play and how it can help you step out of stress!

Being Present:  Sometimes do you feel like you are missing out on your own life?  Our minds are skilled at ruminating in the past or racing toward the future, but magic happens when we ground ourselves in the now.  What is perfect and wonderful about your family, your body, your life RIGHT NOW? (without changing a damn thing)  Bonus: Write it out

This week, I invite you to join me being right here right now: let’s jump in, savor the magic of moving at our own pace, and appreciate the beauty of our lives right now, without feeling the need to fix or upgrade anything.

As we wrap this up, remember, this post isn’t about reading or likes, it’s about putting it into action in your own way.  So, are you ready to infuse your days with a bit of joy, a splash of happiness, and a whole lot of presence?

P.S. Don’t forget to share this post with a woman in your life who could use a dose of play and happiness.  Let’s multiply the joy!
